These yukata patterns follow tradition dating back to the Edo period.
Here, the patterns are called Yokikoto Kiku (the three Japanese characters for axe, koto and crysanthemum whose sound read aloud together take the meaning “that which listens to goodness”).
They are of a very pure Japanese style and suitable for home or casual wear.
